Our Passion!

Ever since we went to Africa in 2007, our hearts have been there in the beautiful continent on Africa. About a year after coming home, and falling into our old routine, we watched a documentary called ‘The Invisible Children’ It showcased the need in Uganda that surrounds the issue of the child soldiers, child prostitutes and night commuters in Uganda. As we watched this movie, we couldn't control our weeping. Four year olds carrying guns, ten year old girls pregnant, sons forced to murder their parents or die. Our hearts broke as they began to beat on rythm with the Creator who saw his hurting children in Uganda. From that point on we had a knowing in our souls that we would end up in the most amazing country of Uganda someday… This burden was confirmed in fall of 2009 at a conference that pleaded with young women of today to live life on purpose and to make a difference. With tears streaming down our cheeks we knew that we had to take aciton. Its been said that a broken heart goes hand in hand with passion. So we are taking the broke pieces of our hearts, along with God's, and using the passion there to reach and love on the people of Uganda
